Build a REAL life!

Soon the world will expect you to pick up and leave your parent's nest. You will want to leave their homes and create your own. That should be exciting to you, as well as something of great concern. Life is expensive and good salaries are not easily found and kept. Being an adult has a lot of responsibilities and there are many ways to avoid massive mistakes and wrong turns by researching things around career options including education requirements.

Adults really have just one choice in reality: work or be unemployed. Sounds dramatic but really, it is the REAL life of an adult. Most people work for 40 years during their adult life...between 25-65, which totals over 70,000 hours!!! That's a lot of time and a significant part of one's life.

You are certainly wise enough to know that working is the only way to create a life that you feel good about, proud of, and with the quality you desire. Everyone has different standards and hopes for what they want their life to be like...and all that takes money!

Obviusly one's entire life, marriage, family, etc. is better if work hours are spent doing something they feel good about doing, where they recieve a paycheck that can allow them the lifestyle they'd like to have. Ask ANY adult whether that's true or not. Being happy with your job is VITAL to overall happiness and life satisfaction.

Dreaming of making a lot of money doesn't make it happen and many would say that just making a lot of money doesn't make someone necessarily happy about what they do.

The job market has changed DRAMATICALLY in the last decade, mostly due to the internet. People can now have a job in one country for example and live in another. The options people have of how and where they work are much greater than in the past. In some ways that makes things easier and in some ways more difficult.
